Beginning January 1st, 2022 there are new licensing requirements in both NYC and NY state.

Mechanics must apply for the NY State License AND for the NYC Elevator License.  Mechanics MUST apply to the NYS Elevator Mechanics License FIRST.

ALL Apprentices/Helpers must apply for the NYC Elevator Agency Helper Card. The new licensing requirements go into effect on January 1st. The last business day to submit an application is December 30, 2021.
